New DEX Version 3.5 Launch: Join Our Community of Beta Tester Volunteers!

DEX 3 is Digital 1 Audio’s flagship DJ program for mixing audio and music videos, andversion 3.4 dropped just a couple weeks ago . Our mad scientists are already working diligently on “what’s next” – and we need your help…

DEX 3.5 will introduce a new and improved GUI (default skin) for better access and usability of many of the new features DEX 3.4 provides, notably the new sample deck functions which support many of the playback controls found in the full-fledged DEX 3 decks.

FIRST LOOK AT DEX 3.5 SKIN

While we can’t let the proverbial cat out of the bag publicly yet, that’s not why we’re petitioning for a small exclusive group of 3.5 BETA testers.

We feel for many the DEX 3.5 update will be a game-changer (a term thrown around too often and too lightly these days, but appropriate — we feel — in this instance) and we want your help to ensure it’s rock-solid and road-ready.

DEX 3.5 Beta Team Requirements

• A current owner of PCDJ DEX 3
• You must own a computer that meets the minimum DEX 3 system requirements:

System Requirements

WINDOWS

Windows: 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10
2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Quad / Core i3/i5/i7 / Amd Phenon (Celeron Not Recommended)
4 GIG RAM or Better
Video Card: Dedicated Graphics Card with at least 512MB (or Intel HD 3000 Series or better)
DirectX/ASIO Compatible Multi-Channel Audio Interface
200 MB free on the hard-drive

MAC

Mac: OSX 10.7.5 (Lion) or greater
2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / Core i3/i5/i7
4 GIG RAM or Better
Video Card: Dedicated Graphics Card with at least 512MB (or Intel HD 3000 Series or better)
Multichannel Core Audio soundcard
200 MB free on the hard-drive

• You must be willing to sign a simple NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement ) — and therefore have the ability to sign, scan and email back a copy.
• You will be required to report on any issues and/or usability concerns. Anyone that doesn’t actively participate in reporting will be removed from the beta team.

Bonus Preferance

• Have one of the 75+ DEX 3 supported DJ controllers
